Redesigned frames and graphics for a new look, retaining elements and spirit of original winethief.net site. Designed icons and illustrations to augment existing flavor illustrations. Built custom Flash & ActionScript for active header and flavor links. Provided internal interface for owners to maintain calendar and events and assess site usage. Implemented site in XHTML, CSS & Javascript using the OctaVista web content springboard.

Able to take time for my own projects due to residuals from previous work, I spent time implementing a framework for advanced application development. It was a grand dream to integrate GUI design with Flash-like real-time graphics, secure networking and distributed application support. This was a great learning experience, but I was using c++ when platform-independence was becoming a key attribute of successful ventures, so I set it down pending time for reimplementation in Java or something like.

Designed secure client-server communication system, built efficient, multi-threaded, socket-level server implementing game logic and collusion detected. Built real-time graphics engine for rendering complex, programmable scenes on nearly any client hardware, including 3D poker tables with animated characters, fast-paced poker play and live chat. Performed graphic design and worked with 3D artist to achieve the best character effects. Lead programming team up through commercial release of product and beyond. All in C++/SQL.

Drive! Golf Software Minneapolis, MN, Jan 1998 - May 1999

Developed standalone C++ GUI app providing street-level mapping for locating geo-coded golf courses throughout the US, and providing detailed course information from proprietary database. Designed high performance proprietary data storage format.

Multimedia Productions Inc Minneapolis, MN, Sept 1996 - Dec 1997

Developed CGI programs, wrote C++ scripts to power web front-ends, developed internal utility apps, took over development of the Drive! 2.0 street mapping and national golf course database application. Created 3D animated sequences and original music tracks for promotional demos.

Papyrus Software Northfield, MN, June 1993 - Sept 1993

Summer internship as a programmer with prominent game software company. Implemented support for hybrid hard disk/CD-R installation, interactive, C++ GUI car painting utility, involved in the groundwork for multi-user support.
